“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." (Luke 18:16)

A recent report from Barna.org, states several trends in a child's spiritual development:

- By age nine, a child's basic spirtual direction has been established

- 32% of children between the ages of 5 and 12 make a decision to follow Christ

- 4% of children between the ages of 13 and 18 make a decision to follow Christ

- 75% of all children do not believe Satan exists or ever existed

At FBC, we feel that the Biblical responsbility of rearing a child lies almost solely and primarily with the parents. God established this process long ago. However, our role is to come alongside our parents and provide ministries that will provide spiritual instuction, basic Bible teaching, fellowship and fun with other students, and opportunities for ministry and worship geared specifically for children.
