Staff 1ROB DAVIS, Senior Pastor
Rob Davis joined the First Family in April of 1999. He and his wife, Jonesy, have two adult sons, J.R. and Bryant. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Pastor Rob has served in churches in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. He completed his undergraudate work at Mobile College and has post-graduate degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Liberty University. Apart from time with members and family, Rob enjoys golf, aviation and anything pertaining to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Although Rob's experience includes considerable church ministry, he also has training and expertise as a counselor.

Interesting fact: Rob was once a member of one of the first edition of the Christian music group, TRUTH.

A word about ministry: "I am a shepherd, not a CEO. Leadership is important, but 'servant leadership' must be my primary focus. If not, then the direction is faulty and the destination is disastrous." << EMAIL ROB >>
Staff 1BOB JOHNSON, Associate Pastor of Education/Administration
Bob Johnson became part of the First Family staff in January of 2001. He and his wife, Kim, have two daughters, Emily and Abby. Born in Orlando, Florida, Bob is the son of a now-retired minister and has served in churches in Arkansas and North Carolina. He is a graduate of Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas with graduate studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Bob began his church ministry at the age of 18 and has served in just about every ministry position imaginable in a church. He enjoys just about every outdoor sport including hunting, fishing, and golf.

Interesting fact: When he has time, Bob ties his own fly fishing flies. Also, his wife, Kim, is an "ultra-marathoner" having completed two 100-mile trail races and several beyond the basic 26.2 mile marathon distance.

A word about ministry: "Apart from my relationship to God my primary 'ministry' has to be to my family. If I fail as a husband and father, then I have failed in my fundamental resposibilities as a man.">>EMAIL BOB <<
Staff 1KIM ROSSON, Director of Preschool Ministries
Kim Rosson and her husband, Brent joined the First Family in June of 1990. In 1991, Kim came on staff as director of FBC's Mother's Day Out Program. In 1996, duties as Preschool Director were added and Kim has lead or help in other preschool and children's ministries at FBC ever since. She and Brent are parents to 3 boys: Brent, Bryan, and Brooks. Kim is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in interior design.

Interesting fact(s): Kim is actively involved in community work in the Harrison area, especially the Harrison Goblin Booster Club. She is credited for heading the fundraising and building efforts towards the new Goblin Stadium. >> EMAIL KIM <<
Staff 1SUSAN ANDERSON, Financial Secretary
Susan Anderson is the longest tenured of the FBC staff. She came on board in October of 1980, and has been a faithful servant of the church ever since. Susan and her husband, Harold, are active members of Faith Assembly of God in Harrison. She also has 2 grown children, Tammy and Tavis, who both live in Harrison. Susan serves as both our Financial Secretary and the Senior Pastor's secretary and has long been an asset to the ongoing ministry of the church. Although "semi-retired," Harold owns and runs a printing company from his home.

Interesting fact: Susan and Harold are avid Southern Gospel fans and enjoy, listen to, and sing Southern Gospel music. >> EMAIL SUSAN <<
Staff 1BETTY JOHNSON, Receptionist/Secretary
Betty Johnson joined the First Baptist Church staff in May of 1987. She and her husband, Kenny, are long-time residents of Harrison and members of Northvale Baptist Church. Betty's duties as a staff secretary are vast and varied and, like Susan, she is an invaluable part of the FBC team. Betty and Kenny have 3 adult children: Tiffany, Shawna, and Kendell who live in Missouri and Arkansas. Kenny is a business owner (Advanced Computer Services) and specializes in computer programming.

Interesting fact: Betty only lists one hobby...grandchildren. Apparently, this is enough. Her years as a preschool Sunday School teacher at Northvale should help in this department. >> EMAIL BETTY <<
MAINTENANCE STAFFStaff 1

Rick Rhodes, Maintenance Supervisor
Rick Rhodes joined the FBC staff in September of 2002. He and his wife Barbara are FBC members coming here from Hot Springs. Barbara works at Ozarks Unlimited Resources and they have two adult children: Jennifer and Becca. Rick oversees our cleaning and maintenance of our building and generally keeps things running. Rick and Barbara are both avid hunters.

Jerry Clark, Groundskeeper
Jerry Clark came to join the First Family in July of 2003. Jerry and his wife, Charlotte, are long-time residents of Harrison. Charlotte has worked for the Harrison School District for many years as a Cafeteria Supervisor for the Junior High School. Jerry is resposible for keeping all of our grounds groomed and fit for use by both our members and the community as well. During the winter months, he also helps inside with special projects and other maintenance needs.

Barbara Mason, Part-Time Custodian
Barabara Mason started as an employee of FBC in 2007. She and her daughter, Stephanie, are active members of the First Family and have been for some time. Barbara's duties include general cleaning and some setup of various areas of the church on a daily basis, specifically our Preschool/Mother's Day Out areas and Sanctuary. Her presence as part of the staff, allow Rick and Jerry to attend to special repairs and maintenance as they arise.
