The Bridge Worship Service

The “BRIDGE” worship experience first celebrates our legacy with rich hymns and anthems. Then, as a congregation, we engage the next generation with a praise team and band.

Sunday Evening Worship

Sunday evening service may be a concert, a bible study, some other special event, a lesson or devotional from the pastor or a time of fellowship for the First Family. What ever is happening, there will always room and a place for you.

Check the Current Events to see what is happening this week.

First Baptist Church of Harrison is surrounded by easily accessible parking spaces. Spaces for guests are reserved on the middle lot, easily accessible to the main entry.
Where to Go
As you enter the building, one of the first things you’ll notice is our Welcome Desk. Our friendly folks at the desk will answer any questions you may have and direct you where you need to go
What to Wear

No matter what your personal style, you’ll be comfortable at First Baptist of Harrison. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Sure, Sunday mornings are a time some prefer to dress up a bit, but even if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us. Naturally, Sunday and Wednesday evenings are slightly more casual than Sunday morning, but dress up for these if you prefer.

Preschoolers and children learn while they play. We encourage hands on play so that children are learning through all their senses. Painting and other “messy” activities are also encouraged, so use your own judgment about how dressed up your child is while at church.

Our Middle and High School students usually dress casually on Sunday and Wednesday evenings because games and sporting events are often held outside and sometimes involve getting messy.

What about Kids

A loving and safe environment us provided for your kids so that you can relax and focus on worship and Bible study.

Our younger children participate in Bible study on Sunday mornings and continue with and extended session through the Sunday morning worship.

We provide childcare for the children during Sunday evening worship services, Wednesday night services and choir practice for the ages of birth through 4 years old.

Our Children are provided with age appropriate worship services, Bible studies, discipleship training, music and arts opportunities and recreation. They get to fellowship with their peers and have fun.

Our Jr. and Sr. High students have their own area to hang out before they break into small groups for Sunday morning Bible study.

Sunday evenings they will meet in their own discipleship time.

Their Wednesday night gathering is student led with their own band in the youth facility – ROC 220.

After the Service
The pastor would love to meet you! Pastor Rob is available in the foyer after worship every Sunday morning to personally greet our guests. We ask that you take a moment to stop and say hello.

We also request that on your visit you take the time to fill out the Guest Registration Form so we can contact you by letter or by email if you prefer.

If you would like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church office to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call. The church office is available Monday – Thursday from 8:300AM – 4:30PM. and Friday from 8:30 am to noon.
